Internet goes crazy because beautiful black Labrador has Vitiligo

A Dog With Vitiligo Reminds Us We Are Beautiful No matter What We Look Like

We've seen many people and animals develop leukoplakia, a disease in which pigment cells (melanocytes) in the skin die.

People sometimes feel self-conscious about physical ailments, but the northern poodle reminds us that despite our looks, we are all attractive.

Meet Blaze, a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever who lives in Finland with his father, Santeri Friedlander. He was born with black hair and had white spots all over his body about a year ago.

"The white spots spread from a small spot on his ear," Friedlander explained. "It's interesting that all his siblings are still one color."

Turns out Blaze has Vitiligo. It occurs more often in humans, but dogs can get it too. However, this does not prevent him from enjoying his daily life. Although his appearance has changed, he is healthy and energetic, because Vitiligo only affects his appearance and does not affect others.

Wherever you go, he's always ready to go with you," says his father. "He even likes to travel in his car. "

Blaze only became famous after his father posted pictures of him on social networks. People loved him and couldn't get enough of his alluring beauty.

"He wanted to make people happy and make them smile," Santeri continued. "He is ten years old now, and because of his age, he has several nicknames, 'Old Man' and 'Funny Old Man'.
