Pilot flies 400 miles with dog's last days, spends last days with a loving family

Doctors said she only had a few weeks to live, so the pilot took her to an adoptive home 400 miles away so her final days would be filled with love.
Unfortunately, not every animal in the shelter has a happy ending. Ashlyn is a lovely old dog who has been in a North Carolina shelter for several months and was recently diagnosed with cancer.

The unfortunate four-legged girl has only a few days to live, but a pilot has assured her she will be well looked after for the rest of her life. It all started when Ashlyn felt a little down one day, and it was clear she was ill. The veterinarian diagnosed cancer with some lesions under the skin.

Poor Ashlyn didn't even have the energy to run or play. The shelter couldn't get her there anytime soon, and the puppy wouldn't live much longer. However, one person was miraculously saved. Flying Fur Animal Rescue director and skilled pilot Paul Steklenski vowed to get Ashlyn there as soon as possible.

Flying on a plane is a highlight of the cute four-legged boy. Paul posted a few pictures of him and his mates in the air, looking absolutely adorable and amazing. You could tell Ashlyn was having a good time in the wind, even though it took her a few minutes to get used to it. Whenever the puppy gets sick in the wind, Paul gives her dog biscuits as a treat.

The pilot became emotional during the flight after seeing the puppy happier than in recent weeks. Paul has always loved flying and pets, so a few years ago he decided we would try to combine the two hobbies. He founded Flying Fur Rescue and has been transporting animals from A to B ever since.

After meeting the new family, you can see Ashlyn's smile is back. Tracy Lancer, a caring and kind woman who would make sure Ashlyn received a lot of loving and tender attention, picked up the dog. Even so, Tracy was surprised to see Ashlynn in such a state. After meeting the new family, you can see Ashlyn's smile is back.

Tracy regained Ashlyn's weight and made sure Ashlyn received the best possible treatment. Although Ashlyn has only a few weeks to live, she is getting stronger now.

In fact, now you can tell she's a completely different puppy! She is doing well physically and emotionally. Ashlyn is back as a puppy with unlimited potential.
