Woman adopts old dog from shelter, then discovers she's child who lost her childhood

Pets are not toys. . When you have a pet, it means you have a new member of your family...

Father sounds like a real problem. Why have microchips been ignored for so long? Poor dog, poor girl... So, if she loves the dog so much, why and how did it end up in the shelter? ???

When Nicole Grimes was 10, her grandmother gave her a Pomeranian-Poodle cross puppy for her birthday. They had a wonderful 4 years together, but when their family changed, she eventually had to separate from her beloved dog.

Her father had found a new work-at-home job and needed a quiet environment without distractions, including a barking dog.
To that end, when Nicole was 14, her father brought his beloved Chloe to the Washington Area Humane Society, much to the heartache of both of them.

Eight years later, Nicole noticed on her "Facebook" the adoption of an older dog. The dog, Chloe, is 11 years old, the exact same age as "her" Chloe is now. Nicole has a strong hunch that this big dog might be the Chloe she was forced to give up at age 10, so she decides to see the dog.

When they meet, Nicole is overjoyed, amazed that Chloe hasn't changed at all. She can't wait for Chloe to meet her daughter and one day they will be best friends.

Nicole is grateful for the opportunity to see Chloe again, mostly because the grandmother who gave Chloe the gift passed away three years ago. Now that fate has brought them back together, they will surely make up for the lost time.

Putting the dog with the daughter, though, is unnecessary harm...maybe the dad should go to a nursing home by now 🤔

How happy they are to be reunited...yet, poor pup, wondering where it has been for eight years!
What a beautiful "miracle" story! 🙏 Looks like a god send (maybe even grandma!). ❤️

God bless them all 🙏🙏🙏
